Kaduna State Urban Planning and Development Authority (KASUPDA) has received the new Kaduna State Coordinator of National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), Mr. Hena Emmanuel Dangari to the state with the assurance that inter-agency cooperation will be strengthened.
The Director General of the Authority, Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya, Ph.D while receiving the visitors explained that having synergy and collaboration among the various Government Agencies that inter-relate were ways forward in achieving the government set-goals.
He up-held that no government agency can work alone without collaborating with other sister agencies that share a common objective.
The DG pledged commitment and continued support on any work, ideas and initiatives of the relevant agencies of Government in moving Kaduna state forward and assured that his door remains open for making progress.
The State Coordinator, Mr. Hena Emmanuel Dangari as leader of the team on behalf of the DG/CEO of NESREA, Dr. Innocent Barikor congratulated Bldr. Abdurrahman Yahya, General of KASUPDA for his well-deserved appointment as the Director.
Similarly, he commended the Authority for the great work and stamina to the urban planning and development in the State.
The State Coordinator further explained that the primary mandate of NESREA is to ensure the enforcement of environmental laws and regulations.
He therefore emphasised that environmental protection is a collective responsibility, stressing that by working together will assist in promoting sustainable development and protect the environment in Kaduna State.
