Kaduna APC Passes Vote of Confidence on Gov Uba Sani

There was a notable absence of the immediate past governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, as the state executive council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Governor Uba Sani.

It was observed that apart from Mr. El-Rufai, prominent leaders and elders of the party were in attendance at the meeting held at the Murtala Square, Kaduna.

Prominent members at the meeting include the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abbas Tajudeen; Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani; former Kaduna State Governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero; and the northwest chairman of the APC, Garba Datti.

The Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Yusuf Liman; former Deputy Governor, James Bawa Magaji; serving and former members of the National Assembly who are members of the party; and serving and former members of the Kaduna State House of Assembly were also in attendance.

The council unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Gov. Uba Sani, singling out the governor’s rural transformation initiatives and exemplary youth and women’s empowerment programmes as some of the key successes of the state administration.

The meeting also reiterated the dedication of members to working for the unity of the state.
